About the
journal.

Premise

Agents with SAP is a technical journal for the engineers, architects, and consultants who are putting AI agents to work inside the SAP stack — and who are tired of vendor decks that stop at the demo.

We publish field notes: working code, real failure modes, and the unglamorous interfaces between language models and the systems that actually run the business — S/4HANA, BTP, Joule, OData, CAP, ABAP, and the seams between them.

Editorial principles

  1. Code or it didn't happen. Every dispatch ships with a runnable example or a production lesson — never both theoretical.
  2. Respect the platform. SAP is a 50-year-old system of systems. We treat it with the seriousness it deserves and the curiosity it rarely gets.
  3. One opinion per piece. Long enough to be useful, short enough to actually read on a Tuesday.

The masthead

Set in Fraunces for display, Inter for body, JetBrains Mono for the metadata. The palette is coal, bone, brass, and moss — a deliberate departure from the blue rectangles that dominate enterprise software.
